Welcome to my blog! I have quite the diverse group here in my home. My husband Terry is the comedian in the family, or so he thinks. When hes not cracking jokes or telling stories about how his grandpa once received a hair transplant using the hair from his buttocks, hes hard at work in his last year of college, getting his Marketing degree. He also started his own virtual tour/photography business this year and has been busy getting this newest adventure off the ground. Our 3 year old daughter Madelyn is our funny curly haired tornado! She is a constant source of entertainment in our home and is always keeping us on our toes! The newest addition to our family is sweet little Macy. If she is awake, she is eating...she doesn't mess around when it comes to food! :) We also have two dogs. Our black lab Buddy is suffering from some type of paranoid delusional psychosis. He is 70 lbs. and somehow still manages to squeeze underneath our beds 4 inch opening when the door bell rings. Our boxer Abby has a hygiene problem...she is constantly licking and grooming herself, we think she may be a bit self conscious about the fact that she farts, drools, and snores. That leaves me. Im the glue that holds this crazy family together. I currently work part time from home as a Realtor and have been doing so for the past 4 years. I'm also an obsessive neat freak, Im always making lists all kinds of lists, and I need order and structure in my life just to function from day to day...I should probably be on meds.

The problem with this type of nanny-statism is that the people who were evicted from this “dangerous” facility is that they have very few choices, these are not wealthy people who choose to live like this, these are people who are very near homelessness and were living at the hotel because it was better than the alternatives that they had available to them. So what the government has basically done is tell these people that they would rather see them homeless, rather than living in a room that does not live up to the governments standards. I don’t know how bad the hotel room really was, but it was more comfortable for the people who lived there than living in a car or living on the street would be, if it wasn’t they would not have paid for the hotel room. Most of the people in this hotel were long time residents.

These days many vehicles are being offered with 4WD systems.  It can be difficult for consumers wanting to purchase a car with 4WD to distinguish between the different systems.  There is Part Time 4WD, Full Time 4WD and permanent 4WD.  So, what’s the difference?
The most basic of the 4WD systems is Part Time.  This allows the driver to choose if they want to drive in two-wheel drive or 4WD.  This sounds appealing, but has a downside.  The 4WD shouldn’t be engaged unless it is very slippery.  The reason for this is that 4WD will lock the front and back wheels.  Although this is good for slippery conditions, it makes for awkward handling on dry surfaces.  This system is, however, less expensive and very durable.
The most commonly used system is Full Time 4WD.  This system offers a two-wheel drive mode and 4WD.  Also, there is a high and low mode for various conditions.  An advantage to this system is that a center differential allows the front and back wheels to rotate at two different speeds.  Also beneficial is that this system offers more control and better handling on different road conditions.
Permanent 4WD is comparable to Full Time, yet it doesn’t have a two-wheel drive mode.  The car will always be in 4WD with this system.  Torque is being applied constantly to all of the wheels, which allows for traction in various weather conditions.  This system has high and low modes that are applied automatically.
Four- wheel drive is a great feature to have on any vehicle that may encounter challenging road conditions.

The problem is that 2yrs ago I made the mistake of getting a loan for my sister who did not have any credit. She wasnt able to pay the mortgage and now the house is under forclosure. The adjustable rate increase is on a condominium that I am leasing out, not on the house that is under foreclosure I have always kept up with my payments and was unaware of my sisters defult on the mortgage until recently. My question is: Is there anyway that I can stop or atleast postpone this increase eventhough I am in forclosure status on another property? I cant afford this increase right now, I am only 24yrs old in college and dont have any savings to help me out thru this dilema. Any advice would be sooooo greatly appreciated.

Ok, ok, I am getting crazy with the slideshows now that I know how to work them. I was looking through all our Europe pictures and just really felt the need to put them up, because this week we think of all the things we are so thankful for, and I have so many things to list. I don't want to cheapen the fact that I am so thankful for the man that God gave me. I love my Cheston, my husband, my most dear friend, most precious heart, the love of my life, the man who chuckles at my silliness, is there when I'm down, teaches me, encourages me, challenges me, deepens me. He is my perfect other half, and besides Jesus Christ, I love no other like him. Europe '07 was a bittersweet trip, because it was funded by what my Grandpa Jim left me in the inheritance from his suicide. It was hard to enjoy it at times because I felt bad, but God provided the money for a reason and we spent it the perfect way my grandparents would have wanted it. I wouldn't have taken that trip with anyone else but my very best friend. I love Cheston and am thankful for him. I would not walk through any trials or smile at any victories with anyone else but my love.

Sir Gerry Robinson rings about his television series next spring, in which he will invest in and advise failing small businesses. It’s been a long time since you and I used to talk when you were taking over London Weekend TV, I remark. Done much since? He laughs. I first revealed his plans for the series in October. Since then the programme makers have been “absolutely inundated” with applicants, but they have mostly been small and he is looking for firms with turnover of £10 million or so.
“I think the world has changed frighteningly since the idea was mooted,” he admits. “These are not normal times.” Channel 4 has agreed to three programmes, but the idea will probably stretch to six or seven. Any type of firm can apply and Robinson’s own investment will be augmented by rather more from banks.

JJB’s spokesweasel repeats this twice more, and promises to come back to me. He doesn’t. Niall FitzGerald, chairman of ThomsonReuters, does not come over as one of life’s lefties – he once spent half an hour explaining to me how good he was at cutting the workforce, though he didn’t quite put it that way. So there was a sharp intake of breath among businessmen when the former chief executive of Unilever said: “I’m probably going to offend a lot of people in this room when I reveal that I used to be president of my university’s Communist Party.”
FitzGerald was speaking at an event held by Pi Capital, the private equity club of high-net-worth individuals, and Leaders Quest, which takes executives on learning trips to the developing world. There was an entirely apolitical reason for his loyalty to the Party, he insisted. “It’s where the prettiest girls were.”
But he clearly learnt something, going on to quote Marx to explain the financial crisis. FitzGerald was at University College Dublin in the mid1960s, I note, not a bad time to be a student Bolshevik. We all did silly things at college. I wonder if anyone remembers him there.
